Breast cancer remains one of the leading cancer diseases among women in Singapore. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry Annual Report 2018, 1 in 13 women in Singapore and 1 in 8 women GLOBALLY will be affected by breast cancer in their lifetime.
The month of October is all about raising awareness for a disease that impacts so many women and men globally. #breastcancerawareness
Roughly 20% of breast cancer cases are caused by genetics, but environmental and lifestyle factors play an important role as well. From quitting smoking, and reducing alcohol consumption, to a balanced diet and good physical health, you can reduce your risks of breast cancer by making mindful daily lifestyle choices.
Scientific studies show that many chemicals used in conventional skincare products are toxic and irritating, even at low doses.
